Sachin Mohan, MD, PhD, Internal Medicine Resident, at Research Week 2012.

Congratulations to the research-project award winners at Cooper’s 14th Annual Research Week (April 23-27), sponsored by the Division of Academic and Medical Affairs and the Cooper Research Institute.

More than 100 posters were submitted by our fellows, residents, medical students, nurses, allied health/technical staff and pharmacy students. Topics ranged from clinical research to basic science to case studies, with more than100 faculty and Cooper Medical Staff volunteering their time to judge and discuss the submissions.

“Our emerging healthcare professionals need to be critical, lifelong learners in order to effectively address the health issues of their patients in the years to come. Their projects presented during Research Week demonstrate that they have the skill set to do so,” said Harry Mazurek, PhD, Associate Dean for Research, Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, and Director of the Cooper Research Institute.
