Donations for relief funds to Beirut

Many of you have heard about the deadly blast in Beirut, Lebanon on August 4th, 2020 that continues to cause a significant toll on the Lebanese people during an extremely trying COVID-19 pandemic. It is this exact “augmented disaster” within a background of a COVID crisis, that leads to humanitarian need.  Our Cooper Health Care system has been fortunate enough to have trained a significant number of talented Lebanese physicians, some of whom are members of our medical staff. Several of senior medical staff members have reached out individually to find ways to allow medical staff members who wish to contribute to humanitarian aid for those affected by this disaster.

We have asked the Cooper Foundation to identify recognized charitable organizations which are already providing relief to Lebanon. Below is a compiled list of resources for those who wish to make such contributions.  We will use this blog to continue to disseminate information regarding any future disaster relief efforts.
