CMSRU’s Offices of Student Affairs and Faculty Affairs, along with the Center for Humanism and Cooper’s GME Office, are proud to sponsor the first Special Medical Education Grand Rounds of the 2018-19 academic year on Wednesday, September 11.
Two sessions will be held – one at Noon and one at 5 p.m. Click here to RSVP by Monday, September 9. Please RVSP so there will be enough food ordered!
This special event will feature a screening of Do No Harm, a documentary film that explores physician burn-out, depression and suicide. The film’s director, Robyn Symon, will be on hand to lead discussion of this important topic following both screening sessions.
This is an extremely important topic for physician faculty and medical students to explore. Faculty are encouraged to block time on department calendars to allow M3/M4 students on clinical rotation, residents and faculty to attend.
Student schedules have been rearranged so that they can participate in this event from Noon-1:30 p.m. and lunch will be provided. Light supper will be available for the 5 p.m. event. Click here to RSVP by Monday, September 9 so we can accurately order the catering.
This Special Med Ed Grand Rounds will provide category 1 CME credit to physicians. Click HERE for the event flier.
