Cooper University Hospital welcomes Eli T. Winkler as Senior Vice President for Growth and Development. He joins Cooper most recently from McKinsey and Company, a global strategy consulting company, where he was a manager of a wide range of projects including international mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, strategic positioning and major investments.
Mr. Winkler previously worked for Harrah’s Entertainment, where he focused on business development. Earlier in his career, Mr. Winkler was a diplomat in the U.S. Foreign Service, specializing in economics. He served in U.S. Embassies in China and Colombia.
He has a B.A. from Northwestern University, a master’s degree from the College of William and Mary, and a MBA from Harvard University.
“Mr. Winkler’s extensive management experience will enhance our ability to extend our healthcare services through improvements in planning and process, and position the organization for future growth,” said John P. Sheridan, Jr., President and CEO at Cooper.
Mr. Winkler oversees Strategic Planning, Marketing and Community Outreach, the Physician Liaison Program, Women’s and Children’s Services, and Real Estate Development.
