Patients at Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper were at the top of Santa’s “Nice List” this year, as he made several stops at the hospital this week to visit with children and their families.
On Saturday, December 17th, he surprised Mother’s and their infants in Cooper’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Each family received a Holiday gift bag filled with new baby outfits, stockings, booties and beautiful handmade blankets designed by volunteers at Cooper. NICU staff also supplied cookies, brownies, rice krispie treats and juice for the enjoyment of the entire unit.
Then, a few days later, on Thursday, December 22nd, Santa came by the hospital again, this time to visit with patients at the Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper. Each child left the office with a scarf and gloves set, as well as a brand new children’s book.
