Team Cooper turned out in force on Sunday, April 28 in Voorhees for the South Jersey March of Dimes “March for Babies” Walk, where more than 40 Cooper employees and their families joined together in raising more than $13,000.
“Through pretzel sales, bake sales, a basket fundraiser, and monetary sponsorship of walkers, Cooper staff from around the organization showed tremendous support for this important cause,” said Michael Goodman, MD, chief of the Department of Pediatrics at Cooper. The March of Dimes, founded by President Franklin Roosevelt in 1938, is dedicated to improving the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
Thanks to everyone who contributed to the campaign, held during the month of April – and check out the smiles on the faces of these fundraisers!
