Cooper Receives Award from NJ Sharing Network

6-18-19 Sharing Network Award

Cooper Donor Council team members accept the Platinum Level Award from the NJ Sharing Network.

Once again Cooper University Health Care has achieved Platinum Level – which is the highest level awarded by the NJ Sharing Network, our partner in organ donation. NJ Sharing Network is the non-profit organization responsible for the recovery and placement of donated organs and tissue for those in need of a life-saving transplant. Nearly 4,000 New Jersey residents are currently awaiting transplantation. NJ Sharing Network is also part of the national recovery system, which is in place for the 115,000 people on the national waiting list.

The Platinum Level Award signifies the Cooper Donor Council and staff helped to raise awareness of organ donation through activities such as peer-to-peer educational training and ceremonies which honor organ donors and their families.

Thank you to all Cooper employees who helped reach this goal – it truly is a testament to your dedication and commitment to saving and enhancing lives through organ and tissue donation.
