Avon Breast Health Outreach Program Awards Grant for Breast Cancer Awareness Program to Cooper University Health Care

The Avon Breast Health Outreach Program has awarded a $35,000 one-year grant to Cooper University Health Care’s Cancer Outreach and Screening Program to increase awareness of the life-saving benefits of early detection of breast cancer. It is the sixth year that the program has received funding from the Avon Foundation for Women to support its work on this important health issue, and in recognition of the program’s excellence.

Cooper Researcher Receives $2.4 Million NIH Grant to Study Cardiac Arrest Resuscitation

Stephen W. Trzeciak, MD, MPH, a critical care and emergency medicine specialist at Cooper University Health Care, is the recipient of a $2.4 million grant from the National Institutes of Health for a research project grant (R01) to study neurological and cognitive effects of hyperoxia after cardiac arrest. Dr. Trzeciak is the lead researcher on the project, which will include multiple centers throughout the United States. Read more.
