ICU Nurse Recognized With DAISY Award at Cooper

Cooper University Health Care recently recognized Jennifer Orr, RN, of Collingswood, NJ, with the DAISY Award for providing exceptional nursing care. Orr is a nurse in Cooper’s Intensive Care Unit.

Orr was nominated by Mary Jane Durkin, MSN, RN, OCN, an oncology clinical educator at Cooper, following a hospitalization.

Stephen W. Trzeciak, MD, MPH, was one of 27 awardees to receive The Philadelphia Inquirer’s 2019 Influencer of Healthcare Award at a ceremony August 15, 2019. This award program honors Philadelphia’s most influential health care professionals.

Cooper Primary Care Opens New Office in Runnemede

On Monday, August 5, Cooper University Health Care opened a new primary care practice at 20 Black Horse Pike in Runnemede.

Staffed by internal medicine physician Juan S. Utreras, MD, and advanced practice nurse Myanh Nguyen, RN, APN, the practice will provide expert primary care services including annual check-ups, preventive health screenings, unscheduled “sick” visits, medication management, and more for residents of Runnemede and the surrounding communities.   Read more.
