They were some of the first people I came to know when I started making these trips here four years ago. He was a first year resident in neurosurgery then. He is now an attending neurosurgeon at the Black Lion Hospital...

We all enter medicine to make a difference, to help people when they cannot help themselves. It is easy during medical training to lose sight of this. It is not surprising, really. It is not that you stop wanting to help people or do the right thing, it is just that during residency you spend whatever spare energy and time you have focusing on yourself.

New State-of-the-Art Neurological Institute Opens at Cooper

(Camden, New Jersey) Cooper University Hospital recently opened its new multi-specialty, state-of-the-art Neurological Institute located in Camden. The Cooper Neurological Institute (CNI) will provide patients a variety of neurological and neurosurgical expertise in one beautifully designed office that provides ease of access and surpasses patient’s expectations for care. Every detail of the facility and program has been developed with the patient and visitor experience in mind. CNI is the only facility of its kind in the region offering all neurological specialties in one location.
