Cooper Radiology Resident Wins National Competition

Lourdes Alanis, MD, MPH, a third-year medical resident at Cooper University Health Care, won the SIR Case Competition during the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) 2017 Conference held in Washington, D.C., in March.

Dr. Alanis’ case presentation, titled “Aortocoronary Saphenous Vein Graft Pseudoaneurysm Presenting as an Anterior Mediastinal Mass,” was selected as the winner among the 70 cases submitted nationally. Cooper Research About Patient Perceptions of CT Scans and Cancer Risk In National News
