When Lee was diagnosed with lung cancer, he knew there was only one place to go.
Lee, a former Cherry Hill police officer, was diagnosed with lung cancer last September. He knew MD Anderson Cooper was the place to go. His lung cancer team had good news—despite having an aggressive form of lung cancer, it was caught early and hadn’t spread. His physicians created a personalized treatment plan, and Lee never missed a beat—or a night’s sleep—having full confidence in his lung cancer team. Lee had robotic surgery to remove a portion of his lung, chemotherapy treatments and preventive radiation treatment to his brain. Today, Lee is back on his feet and out on the road with his wife Karen vacationing at the shore in their RV— knowing that his team at MD Anderson Cooper was by his side when he needed it most.
