Nancy’s Story: Splenic Aneurysm Surgery

Nancy went to her primary care physician because she didn’t feel like her normal self. Little did she know that she had a life-threatening aneurysm. Her physician referred her to Dr. Francis Caputo, Vascular Surgeon at Cooper University Health Care and Assistant Professor of Surgery at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. Nancy’s aneurysm was among the largest he had ever seen, and he scheduled her immediately for a minimally invasive embolization procedure. Five hours after Nancy walked into Cooper University Hospital to have her surgery, she was on her way home, healthy and ready to embrace life.
