Thrive365: Bright Lights Program Walking Challenge

Enter the Bright Lights Program Walking Challenge – a challenge to count your steps and walk the distance from Boston to Miami in six weeks. If you do it, you could win a free trip to Miami!

Thrive365: National Nutrition Month

March is National Nutrition Month! Every Wednesday in March the Food and Nutrition Department will be hosting a lunch and learn from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. with a new topic every week. Stop by the table outside of the Cooper Court Cafeteria on the 2nd floor in the Kelemen Building to learn about each week’s topic and to win fun prizes!

  • March 1: Truth or Myth? Debunking those nutrition, diet, and food-related myths. Also, learn about the food and nutrition experts, registered dietitians, and how they may be able to help you.
  • March 8: Reading Food Labels. What do the label claims “natural,” low, less, reduced, “free” mean? Learn about proper portion sizes with an easy guide.
  • March 15: Our Abbott Representative will be offering product samples.
  • March 23: Recipe Revamp. Learn simple and easy tips for transforming your favorite dishes and desserts to healthier options with ingredient swaps. We will also be sampling a new Mindful Menu item.
  • March 29: Nutrition Month Wrap-Up with a Jeopardy-style game to test your knowledge learned over the last month, and win prizes!
