Last week, the winners of the first Cooper Voice competition were named. The Cooper Voice competition challenged employees to bring forth their creative ideas to help make Cooper more effective and cost-efficient.
More than 130 employees answered the call. At an audition, groups showcased their ideas and their creativity as they competed to get the attention of one of the coaches – Senior Executive Vice Presidents Kevin O’Dowd, Anthony Mazzarelli, and Stephanie Conners. The Cooper Voice competition was fierce and fun. It was also a tremendous success, as the ideas have already eliminated more than $1 million of unnecessary spending. This has allowed us to invest in needed products and equipment to support future growth. The winning teams’ ideas have already saved Cooper more than $230,000 this year.
