Teddy Goes to Cooper With 125 Students!

This Third Annual Teddy Goes to Cooper event is a factual and fun-filled program that will take place on Wednesday, April 11, 2018. Kindergarten and first grade students from Kipp Cooper Norcross Academy were invited to experience what it may be like to visit the doctor, the emergency department, have an X-ray, use crutches, and sit in an ambulance. The students will learn about good nutrition and will also participate in making a healthy snack.

This free program was developed to help alleviate young children’s fears of visiting the hospital or doctor and common medical procedures. It is a joint effort among Cooper University Health Care’s Community Outreach Department, Cooper Emergency Medical Services, and The Cooper Foundation.
