Merit Increases

Dear Cooper Team:

We are very pleased to announce a merit increase for all eligible, non-bargaining unit staff. This includes both regular full-time and regular part-time employees. These increases are based on 2018 performance and will take effect on May 12, 2019 (and be reflected in the May 31, 2019, paycheck).

Details of the merit increase are:

  • Employees evaluated as a “Valued Performer” on their 2018 performance evaluation will receive a 2.5 percent merit increase.
  • Employees who earned “Top Performer” on their 2018 performance evaluation will receive a 3.5 percent merit increase.

Please Note: Employees hired between October 1, 2018, and December 31, 2018, will receive half of the merit increase percentage based on the respective performance rating.
