Please be advised that beginning today, Wednesday, May 22, 2019, maintenance work will begin on the south face of the Haddon Avenue Bridge, located across from Bert’s Steaks between Newton Avenue and Mt. Ephraim Avenue. The work will take place Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day, for approximately five weeks (weather permitting).
While the work is completed, one or more of the four traffic lanes beneath the bridge will be closed to vehicles. When a lane is closed, traffic will be redirected to one of the open lanes. Haddon Avenue will remain open and vehicles will not be required to detour to other roads.
Please be aware that during the first week of the project, the lane that will be closed will affect traffic leaving Camden though Haddon Avenue will remain open.
