Cancer Survivors Month

June is Cancer Survivors Month. This week (June 5 through June 9), MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper is celebrating our cancer survivors with a week of activities. Click here to view the line-up of free programs and events.

At MD Anderson at Cooper, you are considered a survivor the moment you are diagnosed with cancer. Our team is committed to providing each patient with expert, compassionate care every step of the way. Thanks to early detection and screening efforts, more effective treatment options, and groundbreaking clinical research, there are currently 18.1 million cancer survivors in the U.S – many of them living years, even decades, after receiving their diagnosis.

Special thanks to the Wellness After Cancer Survivorship Program and Dr. Diane Barton Complementary Medicine Program for arranging the Survivor Week schedule.
