All Cooper team members are invited to attend the next Schwartz Center Rounds (SCR) on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, which addresses ethical decisions surrounding end-of-life care. An engaging panel of speakers will share their experiences and reflections, including:

The hour-long program will begin promptly at noon at Cooper University Hospital in Camden in the Cooper Conference Center, Room 121. Lunch will be provided. We will also have a special visit from one of Cooper’s beloved pet therapy dogs at this session. Visit Pulse+ every day this week to learn more about our panelists!

The purpose of the SCR is to promote compassionate health care and strengthen the relationship between patients and caregivers by focusing on the human dimension of medicine. The SCRs are designed to bring doctors, nurses, and team members from all levels together to discuss the social, emotional, and sometimes ethical aspects of caring for patients and families. The rounds are held most months at Cooper and are open to everyone!

Also, mark your calendars for the November SCR: When Behavior Impacts Care: A Shared Reflection. That program will be held on November 19 at noon. Stay tuned for more details.
