Cooper Medical School of Rowan University’s (CMSRU) student veterans group, VOICE, invites all Cooper employees to an important event designed to bring attention and awareness to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) on Monday, November 12, 2018, at 3:30 p.m. in the lobby and auditorium of CMSRU.
The event will include a screening of the documentary film “The Journey Back to Normal: A Look at Complementary Therapies to Combat PTSD” followed by a panel discussion with the documentarian, a veteran from the film, and PTSD experts. CMSRU’s Diversity Panel, Psychiatry Interest Group, and U.S. Army Medicine are joining VOICE in co-hosting this important program.
The event will begin with a light reception at 3:30 p.m. in the lobby, with the main program starting at 4 p.m. in the auditorium.
