Join Our Patient and Family Advisory Council

Each year, over 1.4 million patients and their families trust us with their health. Were you one of them?

Apply to be part of Cooper’s Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC). You’ll be part of a meaningful partnership with Cooper health care providers to empower the voices of patients and caregivers so that we can continue to put our patients first.

Participants are a diverse group of dedicated volunteers who represent Cooper’s patients, caregivers, community members, staff, and physicians. Since August of 2015, they’ve helped make the Cooper website, Quality and Safety page, and Patient Information Guide more user-friendly. Council members suggested coordinating the colors on the elevators with our visitor passes to make it easier for families to visit. The council is also responsible for the new signage in the parking garage as well as new signs with important valet information. Together, they help Cooper’s leadership to understand and improve any aspect of care, safety, service excellence, program development, communications, facility design, and patient and family education that may need attention.

The Cooper Patient and Family Advisory Council meets once a month on the third Thursday of each month, and we are looking for new members who can commit for at least one year.
