Donations of blankets and messages of hope are part of ‘Subaru Loves to Care’ initiative
What: Subaru of America and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) are working together to provide much needed support and “warmth” to cancer patients and their families in communities across the country as part of the Subaru Loves to Care initiative.
Executives from Subaru of America’s corporate headquarters and LLS will deliver those messages and 100 specially made blankets to inpatients at MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper. The blankets help to keep patients warm during treatment as they continue their fight against cancer, and to help spread awareness of LLS and Subaru’s goal to provide hope and care, one gesture at a time.
When: 11 a.m., Friday, September, 8, 2017.
Where: Cooper University Health Care, One Cooper Plaza, Roberts Pavilion Lobby (facing MLK Blvd.)

Together, LLS and Subaru are reaching and supporting patients, families and caregivers in their time of need. Through this initiative to raise awareness for the urgent need to find cancer cures and ensure patients have access to lifesaving treatments, Subaru is helping LLS make someday, today, for blood cancer patients.
