Starting October 14, when you call Cooper Norcross University Hospital’s main number at 856.342.2000 or our health system’s appointment number at 1.800.8COOPER, you will no longer need to navigate a traditional “press 1, press 2” telephone menu.
Instead, you can simply say what you need and our voice assistant will route your call to a live person in the appropriate office or department.
For example, you might say:
- “I need the cardiology office.”
- “I have a billing question.”
- “Please connect me with a patient’s room.”
- “I’m looking for the lab.”
The voice assistant is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If the office you’re trying to reach is closed, your call will be routed to a live operator who can help you.
Our new voice assistant is designed to make it easier for you to quickly get to the right place for the care and services you need while allowing our team members to focus on providing personal, compassionate assistance.
The assistant is focused only on helping route incoming calls. Your medical care and conversations with Cooper’s clinical and support teams will continue to be handled by our dedicated team members.
