This week, the Courier-Post featured an editorial written by Paul Katz, MD, Dean of Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, where he explains how the new medical school will change the face of education and health care delivery in southern New Jersey, in the Garden State and beyond. Cooper and Rowan continue to benefit and grow through the establishment of this medical school.
“Already, the establishment of the medical school and the relationship with Cooper University Hospital are contributing to the education of Rowan students,” said Katz. “Rowan, which has long offered outstanding research opportunities on campus and off, has undertaken research projects with Cooper physicians, including novel biomedical and biotechnology projects. Rowan professors have presented seminars to Cooper physicians on topics of mutual interest and vice versa.”
