(Moorestown, NJ) Mid Penn Bank has pledged $1 million to support breast cancer care and research through the Pink Roses Teal Magnolias Fund at MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper, in partnership with The Cooper Foundation. MD Anderson at Cooper Now Offering New Non-Invasive, High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound Procedure for Prostate Cancer

(CAMDEN, NJ) – MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper is among the first health systems in southern New Jersey to offer robotic high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) procedures for patients living with prostate cancer. This innovative treatment uses precisely targeted ultrasound waves to eliminate diseased prostate tissue. By focusing these waves on the affected area, HIFU generates localized heating (ablation) that targets cancer cells within the prostate gland while sparing healthy surrounding tissue. Read more.

(CAMDEN, NJ) -The Cooper University Health Care Innovation Center is hosting its third New Jersey Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) Challenge. This event will provide participants with online education and training in SDOH issues, health informatics, and business pitching to create sustainable solutions that help improve the lives of those in underserved communities.
