(CAMDEN, NJ) Cooper and Inspira Cardiac Care team members at Cooper University Hospital in Camden surpassed 1,000 cardiac surgeries in 2024, the highest number in South Jersey, and third highest health system in the state.  Long-time partners explore potential for joint innovation center to boost medical technology commercialization

GLASSBORO (Feb. 5, 2025) – Cooper University Health Care and Rowan University leaders are beginning work to create a joint innovation center to support a consortium of like-minded researchers and boost medical technology commercialization.

Inspired by a 12-year relationship formed through Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, the Joint Health Sciences Center, and the South Jersey Institute for Population Health in Camden, the two institutions are interested in deepening support for researchers and clinicians who want to bring real-world solutions from the lab bench to the marketplace.
