Cooper University Health Care Receives $500,000 Grant from Lockheed Martin to Purchase Personal Protective Equipment for Hospital Employees as they Fight COVID-19
Cooper University Health Care has received a $500,000 grant from Lockheed Martin to purchase critically needed personal protective equipment (PPE), including N95 respirators, surgical masks, gloves, gowns, and eye protection for employees on the frontlines in the fight against COVID-19.

Today, Thursday, May 14, 2020, Cooper Medical School of Rowan University celebrated the graduation of the Class of 2020. We congratulate the 79 graduates who earned medical degrees from CMSRU, our the fifth and largest graduating class since CMSRU opened in 2013. To date, 326 students have graduated from the school.

EMS Flight Nurse Named 2020 Cooper Nurse of the Year
Cooper University Health Care has named Steven Teitelman, RN, BSN, of Egg Harbor Township, NJ, as the 2020 Nurse of the Year. Teitelman, a flight nurse coordinator with Cooper’s Air Medical Services, also received the Barbara and Jack Tarditi Award for Excellence in Nursing Mentorship Award as part of Cooper’s Annual Nursing Excellence Awards presented during National Nurses’ Week (May 6-12). Virtua, Cooper, and Camden County collaborate to provide more options for county residents
Two new testing centers for COVID-19 will open in Camden to increase testing capability and bring it closer to home for many Camden residents. The new sites will replace the current testing location at Cooper’s Poynt Park, which will close May 1.
The two new sites are:
