On Monday, August 5, Cooper University Health Care opened a new primary care practice at 20 Black Horse Pike in Runnemede.
Staffed by internal medicine physician Juan S. Utreras, MD, and advanced practice nurse Myanh Nguyen, RN, APN, the practice will provide expert primary care services including annual check-ups, preventive health screenings, unscheduled “sick” visits, medication management, and more for residents of Runnemede and the surrounding communities. On July 26, 2019 the Camden Health & Athletic Association (CHAA) hosted a free Football Skills & Drills clinic in partnership with Jaws Youth Playbook.
The clinic was open to Camden residents ages 5-16 who participated in a series of drills to enhance the skills of passing, catching and running in a non-contact setting. Prior to the clinic, former Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback and founder of Jaws Youth Playbook, Ron Jaworski, addressed the group. Read more.
