May Is Stroke Awareness Month – Act F.A.S.T.

May is Stroke Awareness Month. The first step to treat a stroke is recognizing the symptoms of stroke. Symptoms that can occur suddenly include: weakness or numbness in the face, arms, or legs particularly on one side of the body; confusion; trouble seeing out of one or both eyes; difficulty walking; dizziness or loss of coordination; and a severe headache with no known cause.
