Employee Appreciation Day

On behalf of the senior team, we want to thank each of you for your dedication, commitment, and excellence in carrying out our mission: To Serve. To Heal. To Educate.

Specifically, we want to acknowledge the tremendous effort that went into Cooper’s COVID-19 response. The past year has presented many challenges, and without fail you have risen to the occasion to support each other and ensure that our patients receive the excellent care they deserve. Every department and every team member has played an important role in supporting our patients, communities, and one another. Due to the incredible skill and bravery of our frontline clinical and support teams, we have successfully treated and discharged more than 2,400 COVID-19 patients from the hospital, cared for thousands more in outpatient settings, and tested more than 88,000 individuals.

Cooper continues to be recognized for our excellent management of the crisis and our leadership in coordinating the state’s COVID-19 response in South Jersey. Working together as a team, we have elevated Cooper’s reputation in the community and in health care circles throughout New Jersey and the nation.

We have heard many stories about colleagues supporting each other and going above and beyond for their team members and patients. We encourage you to log on to Cooper’s Rewards and Recognition site here to recognize a team member for a job well done.

Thank you for all that you have done during these unprecedented times. And thank you for your commitment to making Cooper the best place to be a patient, the best place to work, and the best place to learn and practice medicine.
