The Cooper Foundation of Cooper University Health Care along with Ponzio’s Restaurant and Bakery launched the Jim Fifis Lung Cancer Research Fund at Cooper and introduced the “Cooper Cookie” in 2011.
Proceeds from the sales of the Cooper cookie benefit the fund, established in memory of the late Jim Fifis, the long-time owner of Ponzio’s before he died in 2007 of lung cancer.
