Nomination Deadline Fast Approaching for Cooper’s Quality and Patient Safety Award!

At Cooper University Health Care, we strive to provide the highest quality care to our patients. Help us acknowledge the efforts of our many colleagues who are doing great work to improve the quality and safety of patient care during Healthcare Quality Week, October 21-27, 2018.

Please take the time to recognize the great work being done at Cooper.

How it works:
Cooper employees, or any team, may nominate internal departments or teams that have exhibited leadership, creativity, and innovation to improve quality care, clinical outcomes, and patient safety by Tuesday, October 16, 2018.

A multidisciplinary committee of Cooper employees will review all applications and select the winners using a standard scoring methodology. The winners will be announced during Healthcare Quality Week and will be celebrated at a luncheon ceremony hosted in November by Cooper’s Co-Presidents Anthony J. Mazzarelli, MD, JD, and Kevin M. O’Dowd, JD.

Award criteria and categories:
In addition to leadership, creativity, and innovation, winning projects will also be evaluated on the team’s use of process improvement tools (Lean Six Sigma, WorkOut, FMEA, etc.) that have demonstrated measurable and sustainable results for Cooper.
