In most cases, bystanders are the first people to come in contact with an injured person and are best positioned to provide initial care. Stop the Bleed is a national initiative to educate the public and motivate bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help during a bleeding emergency prior to the arrival of professional assistance.
