(Camden, NJ)The Cooper Foundation’s 15th Annual Red Hot Gala has raised close to $4 million in support of Cooper University Health Care, while honoring Donna and Rick Forman for their remarkable leadership, transformative philanthropy, and steadfast commitment to Cooper and the South Jersey community.

Close to 1,000 business leaders, philanthropists, and community advocates will gather tonight at the TRIAD1828 CENTRE on the Camden waterfront to celebrate this milestone event and stand behind Cooper’s mission. Read more.

Subaru Loves to Care® Initiative Donation of $30,000 to The Cooper Foundation Will Help Camden-Based Patients for Fourth Year in a Row

Subaru of America, Inc. has once again reaffirmed its commitment to the Camden community with a generous $30,000 donation to The Cooper Foundation. Now in its fourth consecutive year, this support—part of the automaker’s Subaru Loves to Care® initiative—helps eliminate barriers to care by providing durable medical equipment and reliable roundtrip transportation for patients served by Cooper University Health Care.

The funding directly supports patients in Camden with medical equipment often not covered by insurance, such as blood pressure monitors, glucometers, scales, wheelchairs, walkers, and canes. Read more.

Cooper University Health Care Launches Clinical Trial for New, Less Invasive Treatment for Brain Condition Affecting Older Adults

Camden, NJ — Cooper University Health Care is now enrolling patients in a clinical trial for a new, less invasive treatment option for a condition called normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH)—a brain disorder that mostly affects people over the age of 65 that can cause walking difficulties, memory problems, and loss of bladder control.

The new procedure uses the eShunt® System, a small implant designed to drain excess fluid from around the brain without the need for traditional brain surgery. Read more.
