Cooper and Rowan Announce New Partnership in Law Enforcement for Health Sciences Campus

Cooper University Hospital and Rowan University have entered into an agreement that will enhance public safety on the Camden Health Sciences Campus. According to this agreement, Rowan will provide law enforcement officers for the campus surrounding the hospital and the Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, which is currently under construction. Emphasis will be given to Camden Police Officers who were recently laid-off from their jobs.

Cooper Surgical Specialties Unveils New Voorhees Office at 900 Centennial Boulevard, Suite G

Cooper’s Department of Surgery’s recently opened its most advanced multi-service outpatient office at 900 Centennial Boulevard, Building 1, Suite G. The suite is designed so the surgeons and nurse practitioners can provide patients the services they need in a comfortable, welcoming environment.

A Message About Safety On The Cooper Campus

The security of patients, visitors and staff is a priority at Cooper University Hospital, and we have always taken great strides to ensure that our Health Sciences Campus is safe and crime free. Cooper has a large force of experienced Security Officers. These officers patrol the Cooper campus around –the-clock, both on foot and in vehicles, to ensure a safe environment.

Music Notes for Babies Born at Cooper

We're happy to announce a new tradition to celebrate the birth of babies at Cooper. Each time a baby is born at the hospital, a few notes of “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” is played over the public address system throughout One Cooper Plaza.

Way to Go, Cath Lab Staff!

When Cath Lab staffers realized patient Joseph Whitesell was coming in alone for a procedure on his 95th birthday, they rallied and surprised him with a bedside birthday party, complete with gifts, a cake and balloons.

Cooper Leads Study on New Approach to Heart Catheterization

Patient enrollment has begun in the RECITAL (A Patient Registry Evaluating Closure Following Access with the Arstasis One Access System) Study. The non-randomized, prospective, post-approval study anticipates enrolling up to 500 patients in at least seven medical centers in the United States, including Cooper.

Cooper Wins Consumer Choice Award 6th Year in a Row

South Jersey residents have voted, and for the sixth straight year Cooper University Hospital has received a Consumer Choice Award from the National Research Corporation (NRC). The 2010/2011 award identifies hospitals which consumers have chosen as having the highest quality of care.

TD Bank Donates $100,000 Grant to Children’s Regional Hospital’s Neonatal Clinic

On Thursday, October 7, 2010, representatives from TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank ®, presented Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper with a grant from the TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank, for $100,000 to be used for Cooper’s Neonatal Follow-Up Clinic.
