Team Cooper Shines at JDRF Diabetes Walk

The sun was bright but the 25-member Team Cooper was even brighter at the South Jersey JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes on Sunday, October 27. The team joined more than 6,000 walkers at the Susquehanna Bank Center to support juvenile diabetes awareness in the region. On Sunday morning, November 3, 2013, the historic Benjamin Franklin Bridge will close to allow more than 5,000 runners and walkers to participate in this year’s Cooper Norcross Run the Bridge Event presented by AmeriHealth New Jersey. This unique 10K run and two-mile bridge walk—the largest in the tri-state area—benefits the Larc School, located in Bellmawr, N.J., serving students with a wide range of moderate to severe disabilities.
