Scott Dingle, The U.S. Army Surgeon General and Commanding General, U.S. Army Medical Command, visited Cooper University Health Care to meet with hospital leadership and current Army personnel embedded at Cooper as part of Army Medical Department Military-Civilian Trauma Team Training program. Cooper University Health Care Opens First Neighborhood COVID-19 Vaccination and Education Center in the Cramer Hill Section of Camden

Cooper University Health Care will open the first neighborhood-based COVID-19 Vaccination and Education Center at the Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Community Center in Camden. The Cramer Hill site will be open for vaccination appointments for Camden residents beginning Saturday, February 20, 2021. The Cramer Hill and East Camden section makes up 38% of Camden’s population, but accounts for 44% of COVID-19 cases in the City. Read more.

CMSRU Students Receive COVID-19 Vaccinations

Today, Cooper University Health Care began vaccinating medical students from its medical school affiliate, Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU).

Annette C. Reboli, MD, Dean of CMSRU, kicked off the student vaccination clinic by receiving her first dose of the vaccine, administered by third-year medical student Nicholas Daroshefski. Dr. Reboli, an infectious diseases physician and epidemiologist, is a strong advocate for vaccinating medical students in the early phases of vaccine distribution. Read more.

Cooper University Health Care Begins COVID-19 Vaccinations

Cooper University Health Care one the first hospitals in New Jersey to receive the new COVID-19 vaccine and began vaccinating its team members on Tuesday, December 15.
