“Breast Health Parties” Educate Women About Breast Cancer and Promote Free Screening for the Uninsured

New Cooper LifeNet System Can Save Lives of Heart Attack Patients

In a medical emergency, time is of the essence, especially when it comes to your heart. A new software called LifeNet is being implemented at Cooper University Hospital to shorten the length of time between identifying a heart attack and providing potentially life-saving treatment.

Cooper University Hospital First in Region to Offer Revo MRI™ SureScan® Pacing System

Today, Cooper University Hospital placed a Revo MRI™ SureScan® pacing system into a patient. This is the first MR-Conditional pacing system designed, tested and FDA approved for use in the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) environment.

PSE&G Program Will Help Make Cooper University Hospital More Energy Efficient

Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) is joining with Cooper University Hospital to help bring substantial energy efficiency improvements to the 600-bed healthcare facility. Funding for the work is through the PSE&G Hospital Efficiency Program, which made $79 million available to perform energy efficiency upgrades at hospitals in the utility’s service territory.

New Jersey Hospital Association Names Norcross Trustee of the Year

The NJHA honored Norcross for his long leadership in reshaping a financially troubled institution into one of the top tier academic medical centers in New Jersey. He has served on the Board of Trustees of the Cooper Health System since 1990 and has been the Chairman since 2006.
