New Jersey Hospital Association Names Norcross Trustee of the Year

The NJHA honored Norcross for his long leadership in reshaping a financially troubled institution into one of the top tier academic medical centers in New Jersey. He has served on the Board of Trustees of the Cooper Health System since 1990 and has been the Chairman since 2006.

This week, the Courier-Post published an article about a recommendation to merge higher education institutions in South Jersey. George E. Norcross, III, Chairman of Cooper University Hospital's Board of Trustees, said he loves the idea of a South Jersey merger involving Rutgers, Rowan, Cooper Medical School at Rowan and the School of Osteopathic Medicine.

Cooper University Hospital Chairman George Norcross Calls Upon Camden Partners to Find Housing Resolution

Cooper University Hospital’s Board Chairman, George E. Norcross, III, is calling upon organizations involved in the revitalization of Camden to discuss a resolution to keep some Camden families in their homes as negotiated in 1992 by developer Israel Roizman.
