This Saturday, 94.1 WIP sports radio show with Glen Mac now and Ray Didinger, featured John M. Neidecker, DO, ATC, of the Cooper Bone and Joint Institute, who commented on Philadelphia 76ers guard, Jason Richardson’s knee injury that is requiring season-ending surgery and long recovery time.

In this weeks edition of NJBiz, Eli Winkler, Senior Vice President of Growth and Development, discussed the need to keep New Jersey patients from crossing the river into New York and Pennsylvania for their care. Mr. Winkler also discussed the new Cooper Cancer Institute and how it will provide better, more coordinated care for patients in the region.

On Saturday, January 26, the Ripa Center for Women’s Health & Wellness at Cooper University Health Care hosted its 2013 Mother-Daughter Day, with special guest speaker Kathleen Hassan, a national self-esteem and empowerment expert for teens. This year’s theme was “Mothers and Daughters Coming of Age Together”.

On Monday, the fifty first-year medical students from Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU) trained approximately 150 middle, high school and college students from throughout the region to become community leaders in exercise, nutrition and wellness.
