Cooper Supports Local Entrepreneurs – Now Offers Camden Pride T-Shirts in Hospital Gift Shop

Made in Camden TshirtsCooper University Health Care is promoting Camden pride and supporting the work of local entrepreneurs by selling a line of specialty designed Camden-pride T-shirts in the hospital’s gift shop.

The T-shirts are the product of three fellow veterans—Ajeenah “AJ” Riggs, Eric Powell and Lionel McElwee—who own and operate a clothing store called 1216 Haddon, located in the city’s Parkside neighborhood. Their mission for the store was to help change the perception of Camden, while providing positive mentorship to teens in the process.  Read more.
