Please be advised that renovations to Pavilion Service Elevator P5 will begin on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, and will continue through Friday, June 1, 2018.
During this period, Elevator P5 will be out of service from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. each day. The elevator will be available for use between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. during renovations, however, there may be brief, intermittent shutdowns as programming of the elevator continues.
On Friday, June 1, 2018, Elevator P5 will remain out of service until 3 p.m.
Once renovations are complete, Elevator P5 will be designated a “soiled elevator.” As such, only the following items and materials should be transported in the elevator:
- Soiled case carts
- Soiled linen
- Soiled equipment headed to CSP or SPD
- Trash and regulated medical waste
- Construction debris
Pavilion Service Elevators P6, P7, and P8 will continue to function as regular service elevators. The following items may be transported in these elevators:
- Beds headed to storage (the beds should be cleaned prior to leaving patient rooms)
- IV pumps and poles (these are to be wiped in the patient room prior to being removed)
- Clean linen
- Patient food
- Clean biomedical equipment
- Radiology equipment
- Respiratory equipment
