New Secure Platform to Exchange Medical Images Is Live

Cooper University Health Care recently launched Life Image, a secure platform that gives Cooper the ability to exchange clinical and operational information with other participating health care organizations.

Life Image will also help Cooper streamline our current process for importing medical images and radiology exams that often accompany transfer and ambulatory patients, resulting in quicker, more efficient care.

Cooper is connected to many local organizations through Life Image, including Virtua, Larchmont Imaging, Nemours, Shore Medical, Temple, and St. Christopher’s. A multidisciplinary team at Cooper is working to expand this network by building new avenues of image exchange with other care facilities.

If you are a Cooper employee in a role that requires you to use Life Image, you can access the platform through Epic hyperlinks in the Main Toolbar, Epic Chart Review Imaging Tab, and on the Pulse from the Clinical Links section. You can also access it from the Cooper Citrix home page. Additionally, you will be able to upload imaging exams via Life Image using a disc drive on your Cooper computer.

If you are unable to access Life Image, or if you have any issues using the application, please place a ServiceNow request via the ServiceNow Portal.
