Annual Tuberculin Screening and Respirator Fit Testing

The annual tuberculin screening (also known as TST and PPD) and respirator fit testing has begun.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, only certain team members will need annual tuberculin screening tests based on their occupational risk. Infection Prevention has identified areas with high risk that will require annual tuberculin screening. To be compliant, Cooper team members who do not need a tuberculin screening test will still have to complete an in-person, written risk assessment.

When you arrive at the test site, the on-site Employee Health nurse will determine if you need a tuberculin screening test or a risk assessment.
