Cooper University Health Care team members may be eligible for student loan forgiveness under a federal government program known as Public Student Loan Forgiveness (PSLF). Team members are eligible to participate in this program if they are a full-time team member, as specified below:
- Full-time team member, worked at Cooper or qualifying employer for 10 years while making qualifying loan payments; or have made payments under a Qualifying Repayment Plan.
There are temporary changes through October 2022 that allow for participation even if a loan would not have qualified previously. To learn more about this program and whether you would be eligible, please visit the links below.
You must complete sections 1 and 2 of the form. After completing your sections, email the form to Cooper’s Human Resources department at HRHRIS@CooperHealth.edu. Human Resources will complete section 3 to certify the amount of time you have worked at Cooper. Once Human Resources returns the form to you, please send it to FedLoan Servicing as indicated on the website here. Only FedLoan Servicing can approve your application.
