Patient Recognition Week

National Patient Recognition Week was created in 1995 to acknowledge the many patients that health care providers care for and ensure that patients are recognized as the single most important aspect of health care. It takes place annually during the first week of February and provides an opportunity for providers – and anyone who comes in contact with patients – to reaffirm their commitment to patient satisfaction.

Studies have shown that satisfied patients are more likely than unsatisfied patients to take medications, show up for outpatient appointments, and take overall ownership of their health.

We encourage all of our team members – this week and throughout the year – to check in with our patients and ensure that they are having an excellent experience at Cooper.
