Cooper University Health Care Announces, After Extensive Due Diligence, It Will Not Acquire Lourdes Health System and St. Francis Medical Center

Cooper University Health Care announced today that it will no longer pursue the acquisition of Trinity Health’s New Jersey assets, including Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center, Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington, and St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton. Cooper signed a Letter of Intent on August 31, 2017, to acquire Trinity Health’s New Jersey hospitals.

Since the Letter of Intent was executed, Cooper University Health Care has undertaken substantial and exhaustive due diligence with respect to the proposed transaction that included a comprehensive review of compliance, legal, regulatory, and operational issues.  Read more.

HO! HO! HO! Santa Claus Has a New Sleigh – Makes Pre-Holiday Visit to Cooper

While the reindeer rest up for their big night on Christmas Eve, the flight crew of Cooper 1, Cooper University Health Care’s air medical transport helicopter, gave Santa a lift as he made a pre-Christmas visit to the hospital.  For the past five years, Santa has completed a pre-holiday test run to visit children hospitalized at Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper. Cooper Community Health Visits Westmont Fire Company As Part Of “Helping Our Heroes” Program

While children are nestled all snug in their beds with visions of sugar-plums dancing in their heads, the Westmont Fire Company in Haddon Township has been busy with holiday decorating and festivities! So to help ensure our local heroes still get the care they need this season, Cooper’s Community Health team came out for a visit.
