Miram and Echo, mermaids from Camden’s Adventure Aquarium, stopped by the outpatient office of Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper on November 2, 2017. The mermaid pair enjoyed a meet and greet with young patients, their families, and staff, as well as read some underwater-themed books to the young patients.
The Camden Higher Education and Healthcare Task Force released market research that demonstrates demand exists for new and refurbished housing convenient to Camden workplaces and schools among the Task Force’s nine anchor institutions’ employees, medical professionals, and students. In an effort to commend, celebrate and increase the number of NJ worksites that support breastfeeding employees, the New Jersey Breastfeeding Coalition (NJBC) selected Cooper University Health Care as a “NJ Breastfeeding Friendly Worksite.”
Cooper was recognized for important breastfeeding supportive practices including providing the availability of reasonable breaks to express milk or to nurse their child and access to a private space for expressing milk or nursing their child. Read more.
